FAQ
A mount is a white cardboard frame and backing board that surround and sandwich the illustration. It serves a similar function to a frame in that it reinforces the paper of the image. When you take the work to the framer, I suggest you asking them to keep the mount because it adds depth and context to the artwork.
For each item I will list the dimensions of the outside and the inside of the mount. Knowing the internal measurement is helpful to understand the size of the actual artwork. Knowing the external dimensions of the mount is helpful so you know what frame size to order or request from your framer.
If you drop me an email or fill in the form on the contact page and provide me with a few sentences explaining what you are after, if you have a particular photo you want me to work with please include that as well as the deadline you are working with. I will then assess the job to see if I have capacity and to check I’m the right person to bring your vision to life.
Whilst the piece you like has already been homed, I am confident that there is a piece better suited to you on the horizon. If you drop me an email with a photo of the work you were attracted to, I will have a look through my unseen pre-released works and see if we can find the piece that rights for you.
Not a problem, if you select the giftwrap option at checkout and put in the receivers address for shipping, I can send the piece straight out to the recipient whose birthday (or other special occasion) it is. Once you select the giftwrap option there is a section where you can type a personal message, I will then handwrite this on to a card that will be included in the parcel.
